ebu Umformtechnik has taken new updated position on the market  

Forming Performance for your punching and forming process is the future ebu concept

In May 2020 CEO Stephan Mergner and COO Mark Malkomes became new managing directors with ebu Umformtechnik GmbH.

A lot has changed. Despite worldwide pandemic and the consequent general difficult economic situation they restructured the enterprise for future challenges. “Our strong shareholder gave us the backing and supported the restructuring and developing of the ebu brand, well established in the market of forming technology”, the managing directors Mergner and Malkomes declare unanimously. “Besides we can rely on a strong team which completely went along with us, supported our ambitious plans in a difficult time and realized the restructuring and further development, with confidence.

In this way, ebu used the time characterised by short time work in many other companies productively and effectively to position the company even better in future.

Sales Manager Harry Wölfel explains the advantages of the new ebu concept: “Whether it's a new investment or an exchange, we always carefully analyse the request and the needs of interested parties. Thanks to the well-engineered ebu system, we can optimally exploit the advantages of our product portfolio in terms of budget, quality and time for the user and ebu itself, based on the series, and effectively advise the customer on his decision. The modular structure and the manifold solutions of the ebu automation as well as the proven ebu SUPPORT offer us the possibility to optimize the production flow and machine operation to the respective needs.

70 years of ebu experience flow into our new best-of series ebu SELECT. With ebu SELECT we offer a finely tuned concept in standardized sizes and thus cover a good 80% of customer requirements. In addition, under the new label ebu CUSTOMIZED, we configure ebu individual solutions for high customer requirements from our module system across the ebu model range”, Harry Wölfel describes the ebu Forming Performance concept in summary.

The realignment with the new portfolio of machines, plants and system solutions is underlined by ebu with a modern, modified corporate design. The recently published website www.ebu-forming-performance.com rounds off the package perfectly. Here the innovative ebu series, their advantages and ebu-specific features as well as the company are presented clearly and informatively.

In addition to browsing the new website, ebu also invites you to view the various SELECT series at its works in Bayreuth. By arrangement with the ebu consultant or after registering directly in Bayreuth by phone or via website, the visitor receives his appointment, which is reserved only for him. The ebu experts then provide information and advice on the spot or on the complete system and machine about innovations, backgrounds and interesting details. And that is also new: in the future, ebu wants to offer the possibility of advice on the machine or system itself not only during a temporary exhibition, but will keep open the factory gates for interested users and customers to show machines in stock throughout the year.
